Næturvaktin,'' (The Night Shift), revolves around the lives of three employees working at the Shell petrol station in Laugavegur, Reykjavík. The 3 individual night-shift consists of eccentric supervisor Georg Bjarnfreðarson, a committed Marxist. Ólafur Ragnar, also a well meaning guy who dreams of riches and fame and a regular employee. And Daníel Sævarsson, who afterwards dropping out of school unites the team. What the 3 men don't understand is born to the job profoundly their lives will soon probably be permanently connected.
