Overview
In an alibi ruse that fails, a San Francisco hood gets rubbed out by competitor Bruno Felkin, who then files the crime to Homicide Lt. Kelsey. He stows away aboard a fishing boat to get away from the authorities. At sea, Bruno is greeted warmly by skipper Hamil Linder, who teaches him how to fish; Bruno enlists Hamil's errant son Carl to look after his slot machines. Carl then develops an interest in Connie, Bruno's girl. The story reaches a climax in the middle of a storm at sea.
