The Unloved is film that gives a young child's eye view of this U.K.'s healthcare strategy for orphans and children in danger. Lucy is twenty five years old. Having been neglected dad and by her mother, she's placed at a children's home. Through her eyes, we follow Lucy's find it difficult to cope with the program. Her saving is her self-belief and her certainty that she's being watched and protected with the sacred soul. Hers is really just a quest for love, beauty and transcendence.
