An aspiring news photographer, ned Giles, joins the 1932 Great Apache Expedition about the search for a boy, the son of a property owner who was kidnapped by wild Apaches. If a wild Apache girl that is caught must be exchanged for the boy, ned finds himself on an unexpected and reckless journey through rocky terrain.
