Overview
Touko Laaksonen returns home after a epic and harrowing adventure but lifetime in Finland throughout peacetime proves painful. He finds peacetime Helsinki uncontrolled with persecution round him being pressured to marry women and have children of the gay and men. Touko finds refuge in his amazing art, specialising in drawings of men of inhibitions. His work -- made famous by his signature'Tom of Finland' -- became the emblem of a generation of men and fanned the flames of a revolution that was homosexual.
