Ruggero, a timid young man, robs a bank on the spur of the moment to demonstrate to his ex-wife that he is courageous and masculine. Everyone is caught up in a police investigation, but our unassuming hero is completely left out. Funny coincidences help him get away with robbing the bank, while corrupt bankers take the fall for what looks like an inside job.
