Overview
Deep Rooted Tree is a South Korean TV show that ran from 2011 to 2012. It stars Jang Hyuk, Shin Se-kyung, and Han Suk-kyu. When it was on SBS in 2011, it was based on a book by Lee Jeong-myeong. It ran from October 5 to December 22, 2011 on Wednesday and Thursday at 21:55 and had 24 episodes. The series is called Yongbieocheonga because it says that trees with strong roots don't move. It tells the story of a royal guard who is trying to solve a case about the killings of Jiphyeonjeon scholars at Gyeongbok Palace while King Sejong is there to write the Korean language.
