Experiencing severe kidney failure, Boonmee has opted to devote his final days surrounded by his loved ones in town. Surprisingly, the ghost of the deceased wife generally seems to look after him, along with his son returns home in a form that is non-human. Contemplating the explanations Boonmee treks through the jungle together with his relatives into a hilltop cave--the birthplace of the life.
