Kristie Simmons, an attorney, initiates a legal conflict trying to find approval for a bike lane for the residents. Kristie agrees when a local vet , Bill, informs her a dog called Gidget needs a home. While walking Gidget, Kristie matches Keith Amos, legal counsel on mission in Seattle, while he is walking his dog. When she finds he's her counsel from the bike lane instance, keith is smitten with Kristie, her initially a reaction to him turns sour.
