Willard, a social misfit, is mocked by his coworkers and forced out of the business founded by his late father by his employer. His only companions are Ben and Socrates, two rats he reared at home. When one of them is assassinated at work, he goes on a rampage, attacking people who have been tormenting him with his rats.
