Analyn Megison is the inspiration for this story. When Amy Thompson (Lyndsy Fonseca) is attacked and raped by Demetri (Hunter Burke), a friend of a friend she met briefly, she finds herself in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina. Although Demetri continues to harass Amy as she waits for his trial, Amy takes a difficult decision to retain her baby despite the fact that he continues to follow and stalk her. In Atlanta, she gives birth to a beautiful baby girl and decides to leave him behind. Six years later, Demetri discovers her and sues her for custody of her daughter, much to her shock and astonishment. Amy fights back with the help of her own legal and investigative expertise.
