Eddie Taylor, an ex-convict based on Bonnie and Clyde, can't catch a break. Taylor is forced to flee with his wife Joan Graham and child after being falsely accused of murder. Taylor becomes a murderer while escaping prison after being sentenced to death, dooming himself and Joan to a life of crime and death on the road.
