Kick is an Australian tv set which was broadcast June 2007. It is located at Melbourne, Australia in Brunswick. The show follows the adventures of crazy twenty something Mi Ki Mavros who's forced to go back in with her Greek-Australian parents on Hope Street following a failed try to"make it big". Miki begins work as a secretary for suave anglo indian Dr. Joe Mangeshkar, who has a girlfriend named Jan, and things spiral out of control. A neighbourhood soccer team, hence the series name Kick is managed by Mi-ki. The show also follows the adventures of Miki's neighbours on Hope Street, including the Salim family, also a Lebanese-Australian Muslim family with allies Amen, Osama"Ozzie", Taghred along with Layla. Amen is an aspiring businessman with integrity. Osama has a crush on the friend Tatiana of Taghred and is moving right through typical teenage angst. Taghred is an soccer superstar. Layla is when Layla drops for fellow fencer Jackie, but what changes. The very first season of this show is available on DVD.
