Pirates can be just a children's television sitcom about a group of pirates. It featured lots of bizarre characters, including the"Man in a Sack" and also a child in a pram that was never seen, but gave off a mysterious green shine. The series ran from 1994 to 1997 on Children's BBC, and included Liz Smith as"Gran".
