Fred, a raffish safe mill, takes refuge inside the Paris Metro after being chased by the henchmen of a business man from whom he has simply stolen several documents. While hiding out in conduits and the rear rooms of the Metro, Fred encounters a society of petty criminals and personalities. Despite being chased by the henchmen, Fred finds the time blow off a safe to flirt Héléna, rob a train, stopping the authorities, and commence a rock group
