The Great War is a 26-episode documentary series over the First World War by 1964. It was a Co Production between the sources of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, the British Broadcasting Corporation, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and the Imperial War Museum. The main narrator has been Michael Redgrave, together with readings by Sebastian Shaw, Ralph Richardson, Cyril Luckham, Marius Goring, and Emlyn Williams. Each episode is approximately forty minutes long.
