Overview
While living in exile off the coast of 28, daughter of renowned French writer Victor Hugo, adèle Hugo, falls deeply in love with British soldier Albert Pinson. Though he spurns her affections, he assumes the alias of Adèle Lewly and follows him. Albert proceeds to reject her, but she remains obsessive in her quest to win him. When Albert is stationed at the West Indies, Adèle once again trails himfurthering her down spiral.
