Overview
Tristana is a Spanish woman abandon to the maintenance of Don Lope, a protective but impoverished aristocrat. Don sells his possessions avoid manual labour and champions the complexities of downtrodden and the dispossessed of society. He takes advantage of the vulnerable Tristana, who leaves him if she falls in love. Unable to dedicate to him, she yields to Don Lope if she falls ill.
