A newly arrived governor finds his province under the constraint of the corrupt Colonel Huerta. To avoid assassination therefore Huerta would believe he presents no threat he pretends to become weak and indecisive. But he masquerades as Zorro, also joins the monk Francisco and the gorgeous aristocrat Hortensia within their struggle for justice against his soldiers and Huerta.
